Evan Hume works with appropriation, digital photography, and darkroom processes to expose unusual ways in which images are used to mediate knowledge and social relations. He earned his BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University and his MFA at George Washington University. He currently teaches photography at George Washington University as well as photography and art history at College of Southern Maryland.
